Jo and Ben had two wedding ceremonies back to back. One civil and one Jewish. With fantastic weather at The Bingham Hotel just on the banks of the Thames, they were guaranteed a great day. Here is a selection of images from their wedding. Any comments are welcome.
What can I say, 14 hours is one of the longest weddings I have photographed but it flew by. Horsley Towers near Guildford in Surrey is a great venue full of great places to photograph a bride and groom. Anna had packed the day with so many different things that there was always something to photograph. From the A-Team Van in the morning for the boys through to the Chinese Lanterns at dusk. That, and the surprise first dance made for a great day. Here are just a selection from the day. Let me know your comments….
I was recently asked by Shepperton Studios to supply them with some images for their wedding brochure. This week, I spent the morning capturing a wide range of photographs around the main house at Shepperton. The main hall is fantastic and really suits my style of ‘low key’ photography. I think I would happily be still there now given the chance. Thanks to Rosie at Applause Hospitality and our Sam, our model for the morning.

I photograph lots of families, children and babies on my photo studio near Richmond in Surrey. I mainly blog weddings despite shooting a lot of portraits both in my studio and out on location. Over the coming weeks, I will post more and more portrait photographs to show the different styles that I can achieve for my clients. Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park is one of my local venues and always a pleasure to photograph at. I have met Amy & Richard at a few weddings since we originally met. They were good enough to recommend me to 2 couples that were married before them. Amy & Richard are now off traveling in South America for the next 3 months! Not jealous at all guys!

I spend all winter longing for sunny days and then when the sun comes out I complain that its too sunny!! Anna Fiona and Denis’ wedding was on the 29th of May even though the weather looks like December. The weather certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the couple and their friends with great speeches and most people staying on the dance floor all night. The church was All Saints in Tillington.
The Bingham Hotel in Richmond is a fantastic wedding venue and Vicki & Mark had an ideal day to be married by the Thames. I love what I do for a living, its my passion as well as my profession. All my couples seem to trust me when I have different ideas. Mark Proposed to Vicki in the grass on Richmond Hill so we had to take them there for their couple shots. Thank you Vicki for sitting in the long grass on the day (yes, she was sitting on a blanket to protect her dress). Here is a quick selection from the days wedding photos. Another great wedding photographed at Pinewood studios. I love being one of the recommended wedding photographers, the venue has endless possibilities for me.
I am often booked for the whole day at a wedding. It ensures that the couple get the whole day documented. Victoria & Pauls day had so many surprises and different elements that I was delighted I was there to capture it all.
The day had a great sense of occasion along with lots of laughter and energy as well as the surprise ’singing waiters’ nearly being removed by the best man before the surprise was revealed. Everyone danced the night away and Paul & Victoria dissappeared into the night at midnight leaving their guests to carry on.
