The importance of Wedding Photography – Wedding Anniversary Photographs

I spend a large amount of my time photographing weddings. On average, I photograph 50 wedding couples a year. To me, wedding photography is very important and luckily, my clients all understand the magnitude of what I am recording for them. I was recently asked to photograph the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr & Mrs Jackson.

Looking around the function room, I came across not only their original wedding photographs but also her wedding dress. Their album was fantastic to look through. Its amazing how photographs grow massively in sentimental value as the years go by. It was wonderful to see how they had taken such care over the preservation of their wedding images. With our lives being so busy, I often think that we forget how events that we experience today will affect not only our lives but those around us and those yet to be born. I hope my photographs become a legacy for families for the next 50 years and beyond.
